Candice King was an American actress. She rose to the top of Hollywood's ladder after playing Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. While Candice became famous as an actor she first made her mark as a performer. In 2009 she released her debut album "It's Always the Innocent People' in United States. The album contains twelve songs, all of which she wrote. While working on her acting and singing, she also appeared on shows such as How I Met Your Mother. While her professional career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she got a role in the CW show The Vampire Diaries. The show almost immediately made her household name. Candice King received praise for her amazing acting abilities and performances. She reprised her role on every season of the show that lasted for 171 shows. She reprised her character in the spin-off show The Originals and in 2021, Legacies.
